Morgan Perna works with companies to address aspects of their privacy, cybersecurity, and information practices. She has experience with state, federal, and international regulatory issues across a wide range of industries, including the technology, life sciences, consumer, and education sectors.
Morgan regularly helps clients develop and implement regulatory compliance programs and establish effective and defensible data privacy and security practices. She also assists with breach incident response managing privacy and security risks in mergers and acquisitions. The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) recognizes Morgan as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Prior to joining the firm, Morgan handled complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. While in law school, Morgan served as the online publications editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review and competed in the National Moot Court and National Trial Competitions. Morgan was honored with the Dean's Citation for Outstanding Leadership and Service.
