A senior associate in Hogan Lovells leading Real Estate Disputes Team, Paul Tonkin concentrates on development disputes. He frequently guides clients through the contentious elements of large development schemes and has extensive experience of obtaining vacant possession of development sites, often in the most time-pressured and sensitive of situations. Paul is also one of very few lawyers who fully understand the complex area of rights of light. Paul also has know-how in disputes involving rivers and riparian rights.

Back on dry land, Paul also regularly advises on professional negligence claims against real estate professionals, joint venture disputes and landlord and tenant disputes.
