With 15 years' experience in the intellectual property and life sciences team, Marieke provides advice and represents clients on trademark, copyright and advertising issues. She focuses on advising pharmaceutical companies on matters concerning advertising, marketing and sales. This includes representing such companies in procedures before self-regulatory bodies and courts.

She also regularly advises clients, both in the pharmaceutical industry as in other industries, in matters involving parallel trade.

Providing advice to a Japanese company on how to successfully fight counterfeits.

Successfully represented an international semiconductor design & manufacturing company in a dispute concerning unauthorized parallel import from the U.S.

Trademark clearance for product names and packaging design for an international food and beverages company.
