Dr Wojciech Marchwicki is an advocate in Poland and an attorney-at-law in New York. He cooperates with the dispute resolution practice.

He advises on civil law (including liability for damages and breach of contract, corporate disputes, defamation and unfair competition). He has participated in numerous complex proceedings in commercial and civil cases before Polish state courts and leading arbitration courts in Poland and abroad. Dr Marchwicki represents clients in criminal cases, particularly involving white-collar crimes. He has advised companies on numerous matters involving civil law and compliance procedures.

Dr Marchwicki graduated from University in Poznan and Harvard Law School. He earned a doctorate in constitutional law at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. He also held a clerkship at the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem. Wojciech authored or co-authored publications on constitutional and procedural law issued in Poland and abroad. He teaches commercial law (contracts and corporations), civil procedure and legal ethics for bar trainees in Warsaw. He is a member of the High Disciplinary Court for Advocates. He supports pro bono the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in its strategic litigation program.
