Katie Ali puts her legal skills to good use. As a senior associate in our Washington D.C. litigation practice, Katie advises clients on complex civil litigation matters at the trial and appellate level, with a particular focus on class actions. She has substantial experience at all stages of class action litigation, including motions to dismiss, motions to certify a class, motions for summary judgment, expert witness prep, class action settlements, and appeals.

Katie's experience includes representing Fortune 500 clients across major industries, including health insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and energy providers. She has comprehensive knowledge of a variety of areas of substantive law, including products liability and consumer protection, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, contract disputes, antitrust, RICO, and trademark claims.

For two years (2015-2017), Katie served as the firm's senior associate-in-charge of U.S. pro bono. She continues to litigate civil rights cases that have received national recognition, including several solitary confinement and capital punishment cases in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
