Who's Who Legal: Arbitration, 2020

Inken Knief represents clients in international and domestic arbitration proceedings. She has extensive experience in handling complex disputes and arbitrations, both ad hoc and before most major arbitral institutions (including ICC, DIS, SCAI, SCC, VIAC, PCA), governed by a variety of substantive and procedural laws, and seated anywhere in the world. She also frequently serves as arbitrator.

Inken's practice has a particular focus on life sciences, the aerospace and defense sector, as well as post M&A disputes. Inken is currently involved in a number of large-scale supply chain arbitrations across different industries. One of Inken's particular strengths lies in her eagerness to understand the details of any technical issues involved in her cases, in order to be able to discuss those at eye level with her clients, experts and arbitral tribunals.

Inken obtained her Ph.D. in constitutional law from the University of Bonn under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Josef Isensee. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Inken practiced with other international law firms in London and Düsseldorf.
