James Huang

James Huang has supported clients on an array of regulatory matters including litigating questions of administrative law, drafting healthcare legislation, assisting clients with internal investigations and compliance with Corporate Integrity Agreements, and providing regulatory counsel during corporate restructurings.

James previously clerked for the Honorable Janice Rogers Brown of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Honorable Leondra Kruger of the Supreme Court of California. His experiences while clerking provide him with a deep understanding of regulatory schemes at the state and federal level.

James received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor on the California Law Review and a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. As a law student, James was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Health Law, Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Torts. He also received the Prosser Prize in Criminal Law and Insurance Law & Coverage Litigation. James holds a Master's of Public Policy from Brown University, where he specialized in healthcare and education policy and was honored with the Graduate Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement. James received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he graduated summa cum laude.
