Having lived in three different countries and gained a law degree in two of them, Hannah puts her experience in operating with different cultures and legal systems to good use supporting clients on cross border transactions. As a member of our London corporate group, Hannah's experience spans domestic and international acquisitions, investments and joint ventures. Hannah has a particular focus on the infrastructure, energy, power, renewables and natural resources sectors.

She has also acted for a variety of financial investors and public and private companies making acquisitions and divestments in these industries, as well as on equity capital markets transactions.

Representative experience

An international natural resources group on the potential disposal of an oil and gas company located in Kazakhstan for consideration of approximately US$350m

Advising Brookfield Infrastructure on participating in a consortium of investors acquiring TDF, France's largest independent communications tower infrastructure business, for approximately €3.56bn (enterprise value).

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries on its global joint venture in metals machinery technology with Siemens.

MOL Group on its acquisition of six UK North Sea licences from Premier Oil UK Limited for US$130m.

AIM listed PME African Infrastructure Opportunities plc on disposal of its African assets including a rail leasing business in South Africa.

Advising Brookfield Infrastructure on its acquisition, with Abertis Infrastructure, of the controlling stake in Obrascon Huarte Lain Brasil, S.A., for consideration in excess of €1bn.

Advising on an arbitration settlement following a disputed Libyan oil field services joint venture and subsequent termination of the JV and sale of its shares.

Advising Brookfield Infrastructure on acquiring Inexus from Challenger Infrastructure Fund, Inexus's merger with GTC group, and refinancing of the combined groups' debt and swaps.
