In the global economy, cross-border contracting results in the potential application of a myriad of legal understandings and interpretations, especially when drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. These issues are becoming increasingly acute with the practice mixing Anglo-Saxon and Civil Law concepts. In this context, it is essential to manage and anticipate contractual risks with diligence and expertise.
The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACCE) will organise a seminar on Drafting international contracts for a global marketplace organized together with Hogan Lovells, which will be held at the Paris office of Hogan Lovells on Tuesday 25 March 2014 from 6pm to 8pm.
This seminar will be conducted by Nicole Mansell, General Counsel & Compliance at Arjowiggins Security, Christine Gateau, Litigation Partner at Hogan Lovells and Mikael Salmela, Partner in the Corporate/Commercial group of Hogan Lovells.
During this seminar, good practices in drafting clauses defining the scope of the parties' obligations, their liability or the warranties provided, will be discussed, with a particular focus on several practical examples.
This seminar will be held in English.
