Laura N. Ferguson

A member of the firm's litigation practice group, Laura Ferguson has experience litigating each aspect of a case, from pre-trial motions practice through appeals.

Laura maintains an active pro bono practice. She committed four months to the firm's Pro Bono department and continues to represent clients on a wide variety of matters. Her representative experience includes habeas relief, death penalty litigation, prisoners rights matters, and amicus briefing on a variety of constitutional issues.

While in law school, Laura was a member of the Criminal Appeals and Post-Conviction Services Clinic, where she had the opportunity to brief and argue criminal appeals in Maryland. She served as a member of The George Washington Law Review and as part of the school's 2016 Jessup International Law Moot Court team. At graduation, she received the Judge Albert H. Grenadier award in recognition of winning the Judge Albert H. Grenadier International Law Moot Court competition. Before law school, Laura was a legal assistant at a law firm in Philadelphia.
