Julia Zenker focuses her practice on project finance. Whether she advises the sponsor or lender in a particular transaction, Julia spots and mitigates the risks inherent in developing and financing large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.

Julia served as the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law notes development editor, where she also published her note "Made in Misery: Mandating Supply Chain Labor Compliance." She customized her law school curriculum to prepare for the challenges that global businesses face by enrolling in transactional practice workshops, in addition to earning a certificate in Latin American studies to better serve Spanish speakers. Julia gained valuable practical experience as a student attorney advising a nonprofit for the Turner Family Community Enterprise Clinic.

Julia's practice builds on a deep commitment to understanding global perspectives and challenges. Prior to law school, Julia lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she honed her Spanish language skills and cultivated her regional knowledge. Since returning to the United States, Julia has deployed her skills to advocate for Spanish-speaking migrant farmworkers through internships with Justice in Motion and Southern Migrant Legal Services.
