Georgina Jimena Zavala González

Georgina Jimena Zavala González assists clients in all water-related matters. She supports companies throughout the securing process of concession titles, wastewater discharge permits, and federal zone concessions, as well as required maintaining procedures. She also lobbies with key authorities within the 33 offices of the National Water Commission spread all over the country.

While her consulting and advisory skills are paramount in bringing rapid solutions to pressing matters, she has also proven advantageous when assisting clients facing administrative procedures before the Conagua, as well as annulment trials before the tax court, and even amparo.

She's also regarded as capable of providing an assertive (and timely) insight for clients with environmental issues related to possible damages or risky situations that could result in aquifer contamination, triggering environmental, administrative, civil, and/or criminal liabilities.

Her quick and natural grasp of the environmental legal framework has proven invaluable in all sorts of mining projects, whether providing counsel for the securing of mining claims or identifying key environmental issues, further strengthening the firm's presence within each aspect of the mining sector.
