Yoshiki Abe is a Japanese qualified lawyer (Bengoshi) in Hogan Lovells' Tokyo office. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Yoshiki had founded Abe, Wada & Watanabe and managed it for more than 30 years. Prior to setting up his own firm he worked at a major international law firm and studied in the United States and England during his tenure there.
Yoshiki has substantial experience in advising Japanese and international clients on intellectual property and multijurisdictional litigations. He also has experience in corporate, commercial, cross-border transactions and labor issues. He has held a number of auditor, director and board member positions at Japanese, British and German companies, in addition to serving as the chairperson of a prominent international network of lawyers. He is the author of many publications, including Business Law English Dictionary and The Handbook for Board Members, and has written extensively on negotiation and work skills.
