Ylva Lorenzen advises national and international companies on energy and infrastructure projects. Her practice includes project financing, contract and project management as well as litigation in connection with project related disputes. Ylva's focus lies on the offshore and onshore wind sector as well as on public private partnership/infrastructure.

Ylva studied law at the University of Hamburg with a focus on international private and litigation law. During her legal traineeship, which she served at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, Ylva inter alia worked for the German Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, as well as in the litigation department of a major international law firm.

Advising a contractor in complex litigation proceedings regarding the delayed completion of a grid connection project.

Advising Northland Power Inc. in the acquisition of the offshore wind farm "Deutsche Bucht".

Advising Mitsubishi Corp. on its partial divestment of its German offshore transmission business and the creation of a new joint venture.

Advising a freeway operator in a public private partnership during the negotiations with the authorities.

Advising a cable supplier on the assertion of claims during the project execution.

Advising an investor on the financing of an estate.
