Ryan Woo helps clients navigate the diverse range of privacy and cybersecurity challenges that confront companies in today's global data-driven economy.

Whether it involves advising on the privacy implications of new products and services, responding to a data breach, or implementing a global compliance program for a new data protection law, Ryan helps companies understand the rapidly evolving legal landscape and identify and implement business-oriented solutions.

As a member of Hogan Lovells' leading Privacy and Cybersecurity practice, Ryan works with clients that range from startups to global enterprises and span a broad range of industries, including aerospace and defense, automotive, healthcare, information technology, media, and retail. Ryan regularly counsels clients on incident response, regulatory investigations, and compliance with U.S. and international data protection laws, regulations, and standards.

While in law school, Ryan served as a mentor and writing tutor for first-year law students as a member of the Harvard Law School Board of Student Advisers. He received a B.A. in government, summa cum laude, from Cornell University.
