Windsor Chan

Dr Windsor Chan’s key role is business development for our Asia practice group.

He has over 42 years’ experience in the banking sector: In Hong Kong with HSBC and Barclays Bank, and in South Africa with Nedbank and China Construction Bank. 

During his 14 years at China Construction Bank he was head of credit and risk management, deputy general manager, and deputy CEO, with specific portfolios of credit, risk, treasury, compliance and structured trade finance. While at China Construction Bank he was a non-executive director at Everstar Industries (Pty) Ltd and Rand Asia Trade Finance (Pty) Ltd. 

Windsor is deputy chairperson of the Technical Working Group of the Premier’s Advisory Council of the Limpopo Provincial Government on Enterprise Development for Job Creation and Economic Growth. 

He is also a Registered Key Individual (KI) and Representative for China Construction Bank Johannesburg branch as approved by the Financial Service Board.
