Skilled in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency transactions, Will has particular experience in formal insolvency procedures and cross-border restructurings and since the financial downturn in 2008 has advised on a number of financial institution insolvencies. Drawing on his previous experience as a corporate lawyer, Will also advises clients on acquisitions, disposals and restructurings of distressed companies and provides advice in relation to commercial disputes.
Will advises clients from across the whole spectrum of stakeholders in a restructuring and insolvency transaction, from senior creditors to insolvency practitioners, and has extensive knowledge of advising insurance clients on reorganisations and restructurings through schemes of arrangement.

Advising on a number of insurer insolvencies and solvent schemes of arrangement including Orion, Sovereign Marine, Drake and Phoenix & London Assurance Limited.
Advising the administrators in relation to the pre-packaged insolvencies of a number of well-known multi-national companies.
Advising various counterparties to Lehman entities in administration.
Advising the provisional liquidators of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander (Isle of Man) Limited in the formulation of a proposed Isle of Man scheme of arrangement.
