No area of law is more subject to change as labor law. Especially digitalization and globalization lead to continuous need for adaption by legislator and jurisdiction. Companies have to keep up with this fast development and have to face the involved challenges all over again and again. 

In order to meet these challenges, Werner Thienemann identifies practicable solutions suitable for the respective branch due to his considerable expertise. He supports domestic and foreign clients related to the planning phase of staff adjustment measures and provides advice on the topics contract drafting, implementation of remuneration and working time systems as well as deployment of external staff. Irrespective of whether this concerns the implementation of restructuring measures, negotiations with employee´s representatives or daily HR-business – Werner provides with custom-fit answers as well as industry-specific legal advice. His clients portfolio includes inter alia the insurance business, the pharmaceutical and medical technology sector and the IT- and startup industry.

Werner studied law in Erlangen-Nuremberg and in Seville, Spain. After graduating, he worked at a chair for labor and social law at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and earned his doctorate on the subject of transfer of business. During his legal clerkship, he worked in a labor law firm in Sydney, Australia and taught European law as a visiting lecturer at University of Antalya, Turkey.
