An experienced senior associate in our Australian office, Reuben has a real depth of understanding across all corporate matters.  Reuben's skillset spans public and private M&A (in particular, private equity transactions), equity capital markets, shareholder and JV arrangements, corporate restructuring, commercial contracts, foreign investment approvals and on-going advice for both private and public companies operating in Australia. He is also experienced in New Zealand law matters, having practised at a top tier firm in Auckland.

Reuben's passion and strength lies in providing quality strategic advice to offshore clients on investments into Australia, with a focus on private equity transactions. His ability to service all aspects of his clients' corporate needs and to understand complex transactions makes Reuben a valuable resource to these clients. Reuben prides himself on always being both responsive and alert to client needs. With a commercial focus, he really understands his client's businesses and knows what matters the most to them. Partners Group on its investment in the $450m Ararat Wind farm (240MW) in Victoria and the Sapphire Wind Farm (270MW) in NSW.

Mantra Group Limited (one of Australasia's leading hotel groups) on its A$449 million IPO, significant secondary capital raisings and ongoing corporate advice.*

Swissport International Inc (part of the HNA Group) on a confidential private equity acquisition (A$500m- A$1bn) in Australia.

Photon Energy on a large scale 1.1GW solar farm development and financing project across seven sites in NSW, Australia.

ProTen Limited, a public agribusiness company, on capital raising transactions  and ongoing corporate advice.

Five V Capital various private equity transactions in Australia and New Zealand, including its investment into RateSetter Australia.

H2 Holdings (DBM Global) on its cross border acquisition of two steel design and BIM businesses based in Australia.

Signal Brands in relation to its acquisition of the GUESS apparel and designer fashion distribution business in Australia.

CVC Capital Partners on various transactions in Australia and on exit of existing investments, including in relation to Mantra and Helloworld.*

Riverstone Capital and AMCI on various acquisitions and joint venture interests in Australia, including in the natural resources sector.
