Tessa helps clients in the energy and natural resources industry tackle complex environmental contamination issues in transactions, provides regulatory counseling, and litigation guidance under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and similar state laws. Tessa has particular experience drafting solutions to environmental, energy, and land use legal problems.
Before law school, Tessa served in a managerial capacity at a leading global environmental public interest organization.
Passionate about her community, Tessa has dedicated significant time on numerous volunteer efforts including serving as an English teacher at Hogar Immigration Services, as family mentor at Lutheran Refugee and Immigrant Services, and as head coach at Girls on the Run.
