Chris provides commercial tax advice to clients on a broad range of UK tax issues. He is primarily focussed on the tax aspects of corporate and real estate transactions but he also provides tax advice in relation to finance and employment matters. Chris also has significant experience of indirect taxation, including VAT and duties, as well as handling contentious tax matters with HMRC and litigation before the Tax Tribunals.

Advising a US insurer on the tax aspects of acquiring rights in a Lloyd's syndicate.

Advising large insurers in relation to claims under tax indemnity insurance policies.

Advising a large US multi-national group in relation to moving its tax residency to the UK.

Advising the owner-manager of a leading online corporate communications agency on the sale of the group to a listed media group.
