Victoria Q. DeBayle

Victoria DeBayle has a strong background in Latin America and international and comparative law. With the ability to draft agreements in both Spanish and English, Victoria focuses on the development, financing, and construction of projects throughout the United States and abroad.

She represents companies in connection with engineering, procurement, and construction agreements and related contracts, such as equipment supply and operation and maintenance contracts. She drafts and negotiates the agreements and advises clients on project management, contract correspondence, and settlement of contractual disputes.

During law school, she honed her legal skills as a member of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review.

Representative Experience

Representing a refinery in connection with an engineering, procurement, and construction agreement for a petroleum refining and petrochemical complex.

Represented a U.S.-based power company in connection with the engineering, procurement, and construction of two photovoltaic power plants.

Represented a U.S.-based media company in connection with the construction of a new production facility for its printing presses and office services.

Represented independent power producers in the development of four hydro-electric power facilities in Central America.

Represented developers in construction of hydro-electric, solar, and wind-powered generating facilities in the U.S. and Latin America.
