Dr. Verena Ritter-Döring
Verena Ritter-Döring advises her clients on banking supervisory and investment law. She advises German and international banks, financial services and payment institutions on all aspects of banking supervisory law, compliance and payments law. She also offers advice to capital management companies and funds on investment law aspects, in particular on licensing issues, organizational obligations, own funds requirements and rules of conduct.
She further advises on the regulatory requirements of M&A transactions, the introduction and the distribution of new financial products and the structuring of investment funds. She also advises non-banks on licensing obligations under the German Banking Act (KWG). Before joining Hogan Lovells in 2015, Verena worked for several years in a major British law firm in the area of financial regulatory law.
