Jessica Valdes Garcia is an associate in the Civil Litigation group, where she assists clients with complex legal disputes across a variety of industries. Jessica is also passionate about her pro bono practice, having represented clients in immigration, civil rights, and family law matters.

While in law school, Jessica participated in the Center for Applied Legal Studies, where she successfully secured asylum for her client before a federal immigration judge. Jessica served as a Delegate for the Student Bar Association and as a Board Member for the Early Outreach Initiative. She also interned for Prudential Financial’s Enterprise Litigation department and the Office of the Inspector General at the United States Agency for International Development.

Prior to law school, Jessica worked as a legislative aide to a U.S. Representative, liaison to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and as staff associate for the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs. When needed, Jessica leverages her multicultural background and foreign language abilities to provide additional support to international clients.
