John Ugai

John Ugai is an associate in the Silicon Valley office where he helps represent clients in regulatory matters spanning administrative proceedings and the California court system, as well as other companies in class action litigation. John also maintains an active pro bono practice, working with teams on environmental and constitutional issues.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, John worked as a summer associate in our Silicon Valley office and as a law clerk for Asian Americans Advancing Justice - the Asian Law Caucus. He also spent two years helping to represent local environmental groups before state courts as well as state and federal agencies in Stanford Law School's Environmental Law Clinic. In addition, while at Stanford John remained active in several pro bono projects and served as an editor of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
