Thilo Alexander Hoffmann, LL.M. (UoB)

Whether it's a national, international, medium-sized or family-run business, Thilo has knowledge advising companies on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate as well as energy law. After Thilo joined the firm he worked for four months with the corporate group in our Munich office.

In July 2013, Thilo was seconded for eight months to the legal department of a worldwide operative cable producer and in addition to the general activity of a legal department, Thilo focused on offshore wind farm projects, including the participation of consortiums.

Thilo studied law at Heinrich-Heine-University of Dusseldorf and University of Bristol (UK) and spent parts of his post-graduate training in our Hamburg and London offices.

Representative Experience

Advising Bureau Veritas on various German acquisitions.

Advising Kirkbi and William Demant on the acquisition of an interest in the offshore wind farm 'Borkum Riffgrund I.'

Advising Marquard & Bahls AG on the acquisition of Bominflot group.

Advising PKA A/S and further pension funds on the acquisition of a 50%-interest in an offshore wind project.

Advising Repower AG on the development of a CCGT-power plant.

Advising Volkswind GmbH shareholders on the sale of German onshore wind portfolio with more than 700 MW.
