Teresa Sedelmaier advises on all aspects of intellectual property law, especially on patents, trademark and design law.
She helps her national and international clients to enforce and defend their rights, be it by drafting agreements, in out-of-court negotiations, preliminary proceedings or lawsuits. Teresa advises in the areas of infringement proceedings, as well as nullity actions at the German Federal Patent Court and opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office. She has been involved in several commercially significant patent litigation cases, inter alia, in the telecommunication, automotive and white good areas.
Teresa studied law at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena and the Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). After working as a research assistant at the Gerd Bucerius chair for civil law with German and international intellectual property law at the University of Jena, she conducted her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich with a nine-month time as law clerk at our Munich office. She received a Ph.D. in the area of German and European design law.
