Tanja Woithe-Richter, LL.M. (Wellington)
Tanja Woithe-Richter's practice focuses on trademark, design and unfair competition law. Tanja advises clients on the protection and enforcement of trademarks and designs as well as the legal aspects of planned marketing campaigns. She is experienced in IP prosecution and litigation at the German district and appellate courts as well as the German Federal Patent Court.
In recent years, she has put an emphasis on advising clients on proper IP protection in China. Her main focus lies on the consumer goods and telecommunication industry as well as on companies doing business in China.
Tanja studied law at the University of Hanover and at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. As part of her legal traineeship and her master studies, she worked for law firms in Australia and New Zealand in the fields of competition and trademark law.
