Przemyslaw Tacij

Przemyslaw Tacij is an advocate and a member of the Warsaw Litigation, Arbitration and Product Liability Team and represents clients in disputes related to commercial contracts, corporate law and bankruptcy proceedings. Przemyslaw focuses on litigation and arbitration at both the pre-trial and the trial stages of a case.

He supports clients starting from the analysis of the claim and gathering the evidence material, through the preparation of the writs and the representation before the courts and arbitration tribunals, and concluding with assistance with the enforcement of the judgments.

Przemyslaw graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He also completed his studies at the Centre for American Law Studies, which is a joint initiative of the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and the University of Warsaw. Przemyslaw's achievements don’t end there, as he did pro-bono work for the Legal Clinic at the University of Warsaw and was elected President of the ELSA Warsaw Local Group of the European Law Student Association ELSA Poland.

Representing an international insurance company in several court disputes arising out of insurance agreements.

Representing an international insurance company in several court disputes arising out of insurance agreements.

Representing an international investment company in a court dispute arising from the non-performance of a settlement agreement which concluded with a final and binding court judgment in favour of the Client.

Representing several creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Successfully advising in pre-arbitration proceedings in a claim for payment of €850,000 under a service agreement.

Successfully defending a company from the entertainment business in a court case challenging the shareholders' resolutions.

Successfully defending a Polish subsidiary from an international construction company’s group in court proceedings upon the petition for declaring the company bankrupt.

Successfully defending an international food company in a court dispute arising from a construction contract concluded with final rejection of the statement of claim.

Successfully negotiating a settlement with a Polish energy supplier covering a claim for €1.3m.

Successfully representing Sephora Polska in a court dispute arising from a service agreement which concluded with a court settlement agreement.
