Ewa's professional practice covers advising Polish and foreign clients on all aspects of competition and consumer law. Ewa advises on competition compliance projects. She advises on compliance of model contracts with consumer law, in particular in the telecommunication sector and on general product safety law issues. Ewa also advises on projects involving the labeling of products. Her practice also includes providing advice on state aid issues.
She joined the Competition Law practice at Hogan Lovells in April 2010 and is a legal adviser at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw. She largely focuses on competition and consumer law. Ewa has assisted in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in cases involving anti-competitive practices, practices violating collective interests of consumers and merger control proceedings as well as in subsequent court proceedings.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Warsaw University (2010) and the Centre of American Law Studies (2010) organised by the University of Warsaw and the University of Florida.
Advising three insurance companies in proceedings before the OCCP regarding possible violations of the collective interests of consumers by charging excessive surrender fees.
Advising Aviva Towarzystwo Ubezpieczen na Zycie, and BZ WBK in merger notification proceedings before the European Commission.
Representing companies operating in aerospace sector in a merger control proceeding before the OCCP concerning their intention to create a joint venture.
Advising Lesaffre Polska on their commercial policy including their distribution system.
