David Steenburg focuses his practice on transactional tax matters. He works closely with practices across the firm as well as members of the Hogan Lovells global Tax team to deliver coordinated solutions to clients.
David's experience includes advising clients on the tax aspects of commercial transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, IPOs, and group restructurings and reorganizations. He also has experience advising REITs on formation, capital markets, strategic transactions, and operational matters.
While in law school, David served as the editor-in-chief of the Catholic University Law Review.
Representative experience
Dell on its US$3.05bn carve-out and sale of its IT services business, Dell Services, to NTT Data, Inc. of Japan.
QTS Realty Trust, Inc. in connection with the issuance and sale of approximately US$322m Class A common stock.
