Shaun Langhorne is a restructuring partner in our Singapore office and leads the Hogan Lovells Restructuring practice in Asia.

Shaun has vast experience dealing with large and complex cross-border restructurings across Asia, with a strong focus on South Asia, including Indonesia, India, and Singapore. His practice encompasses the breadth of contentious and non-contentious situations.

He has recently led a number of high-profile restructurings across the region. Shaun has been identified as a leading lawyer for Restructuring and Insolvency in Chambers Asia-Pacific and International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Asia and was named in the Asia Legal Business 2017 40 under 40 best lawyers in Asia. His practice was ranked Tier 1 in Legal 500's Asia-Pacific 2018 and 2019 guides. Shaun is a fellow of International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL) and the president of the Southeast Asia chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

Represented a committee of unsecured lenders in the SG$3.2bn restructuring of the Hyflux group, a Singapore listed water and power conglomerate.

Represented an international bank in relation to the US$1.9bn restructuring of Indonesia's Borneo Lumbung group.

Represented a syndicate of lenders comprising international and Indonesian lenders on the US$330m restructuring of PT Royal Industries, an Indonesian palm oil processing company.

Represented a syndicate of lenders on the refinancing of a US$450m loan provided to an Indian conglomerate.

Represented a syndicate of lenders on the restructuring of a US$470m loan provided to an Indian infrastructure conglomerate with subsidiaries in Singapore and Mauritius.

Represented a lender on the unsecured creditors committee in the restructuring of the Noble group.

Represented trade lenders in the restructuring of the OM Holdings group, an Australian listed diversified minerals group with operations throughout Asia.
