Representative experience

Represented a Canadian pension fund in the acquisition of hydroelectric facilities located in the United States.

Represented infrastructure fund in the acquisition of a 49% cash equity interest in a 1.1 GW portfolio of eight operating wind farms in seven states.

Represented an emerging markets private equity fund in an investment in a domestic oilfield services company with shale operations in Argentina.

Represented infrastructure fund based in Toronto and New York in acquisition and financing of district energy businesses throughout the United States.

Represented government of a European country in development of a public-private partnership supported by World Bank funding for a generating facility.

Advised a systems operator on internal market-participant and governance issues and market design, integration of demand response, and credit support.

Represented an independent power producer in the negotiation of an EPC agreement.
