Matteo Scuriatti  joined Hogan Lovells in January 2016 after having worked for almost 2 years in the capital markets department of a major leading international firm.

He is an associate in the International Debt Capital Markets department of the Rome office and regularly assists leading Italian and international clients on a large number of debt capital market transactions, including the issuance of financial instruments, securitisation and structured finance transactions.

Matteo has also been seconded to the legal department of an important Italian company under public control and to the capital markets documentation department of one of the main Italian financial institutions.

Matteo is qualified in Italy and admitted to the Rome Bar.

Advising Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena as issuer in relation to the issue of the Euro750,000,000 Subordinated Tier 2 Notes due 18 January 2028.

Advising Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA in relation to the update of the € 50,000,000,000 Debt Issuance Programme.

Advising Banca IMI as arranger and IBL Banca as originator in the issuance of ABS through the € 10,000,000,000 Asset Backed Notes Programme.

Advising Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. in connection with the update of its Certificates and Warrants Programme and the issuances thereunder.

Advising FISG S.r.l., as arranger, in connection with a multi-originators securitisation programme of trade receivables owed by Italian Public Administrations.

Advising FISG S.r.l., as arranger, in connection with a securitisation programme of SMEs loan receivables originated by Banca Valsabbina S.c.p.A.

Advising Credit Agricole CIB, as arranger, in connection with the update of the EMTN Programme of Banca Sella S.p.A
