Ryan Purslowe

Ryan is an associate in the business restructuring and insolvency group in London. Having qualified at Ashurst in Australia he joined the firm in 2014. Ryan generally works for banks, funds and other creditors, advising on domestic and cross-border restructurings. He has experience in large loan portfolio transactions, has acted for insolvency practitioners in pre-packs and administration sales and has also advised lenders in respect to distressed debt restructurings.

Representative Experience

Advising GE Capital on the divestment of its European assets following the sale of its $23bn. commercial real estate book to Wells Fargo and Blackstone.

Advising Lloyds Banking Group in relation to the divestment of a European loan portfolio.

Advising a multi-national engineering services group on the potential pre-pack of its distressed UK subsidiary.

Acting for a syndicate of lenders in relation to the injection of new funds into a major international construction company as part of a debt restructuring.
