Upcoming Privacy and Cybersecurity events - June

Keep up to date on latest Privacy and Cybersecurity trends by attending the events our lawyers are participating in this month. Notably, members of our global Privacy and Cybersecurity practice will be session speakers during the 14th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, the RSA Conference, the Stanford Law School Digital Economy Best Practices Conference, and the SPOKES Privacy and Technology Conference.

They will discuss topics such as the rights to privacy and data protection in contemporary warfare, how best to navigate the compliance landscape when implementing algorithmic data processing to detect security threats or generate business insights, various privacy issues of the future in the health sector, and how to think about high-risk processing in the context of artificial intelligence ranging from ethical concerns to practical regulatory considerations.

June 1-2	Eduardo Ustaran will be speaking at the 14^thInternational Conference on Cyber Conflict during two sessions, “The Rights to Data Protection and Privacy in Times of Armed Conflict” (June 1), and “Fair and Proportionate Data Processing in the Military Context” (June 2).
June 7	Bret Cohen will be speaking during the session "Designing a Data Ethics and Privacy Program for AI/ML" at the RSA Conference.
June 13	Marcy Wilder will be speaking at the Stanford Law School Digital Economy Best Practices Conference on privacy and cybersecurity in the health sector.
June 22	Julian Flamant will be speaking during the session “A Conversation About AI And High-Risk Processing” at the SPOKES Privacy and Technology Conference (Virtual).
