Taiwan cracks down on anonymous virtual currency transactions

Taiwan has amended its anti-money laundering and terrorism financing prevention laws that regulate virtual currencies transactions to fight online financial crime.

According to news outlet Focus Taiwan, the Legislative Yuan, Taiwan's highest legislative body, has amended the Money Laundering Control Act and the Terrorism Financing Prevention Act.
