The application of the law to websites sometimes gives rise to difficulties when one seeks to locate certain facts relating to these websites, which are, by definition, virtual.  This question, in particular the applicability and application of the rules governing the jurisdiction of the courts of the Member States pursuant to the Brussels I Regulation, continues to frequently give rise to new European case law.
