Projects and Energy Update

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) announced last week that it is in the process of developing the regulatory framework on small-scale renewable embedded generation as well as the guidelines on the electricity reseller tariffs.
 
Any tariff approved by NERSA for the small-scale renewable embedded generation and electricity resellers will be an interim tariff as the structure, level and the rates will change after the process has been finalised.
 
The timeline for the process to be followed is illustrated below:
