New FAA waiver issued to CNN will help expand commercial drone operations over people
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently issued the first ever Part 107 Waiver authorizing drone operations over people for closed-set filming to CNN. This is a significant success for not just film and media companies, but for large swaths of the commercial drone industry.
