New effective date for export control certification

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced on 22 December 2010 that employers petitioning for workers in H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, and O-1A status will NOT be required to complete the export-related certification on the new I-129 petition form until 20 February 2011. The new form has to be used as of today but the certification will not be required until 20 February 2011.
