Merger Process Reforms

This article analyzes the five recently announced modifications to the Federal Trade Commission's "second request" procedures, which can arise during the course of merger clearance. Currently, second request investigations are intensive, expensive, and time consuming, and these reforms are intended to substantially reduce that burden.
