Israel to crack down on cryptocurrencies

Israeli has become the latest country to crack down on cryptocurrencies.

The country's national regulators have announced that companies trading in bitcoin would be barred from operating on the Tel Aviv stock exchange.

Shmuel Hauser, the chairman of the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), told a business conference that proposals will be put forward to the ISA board next week, warning that he viewed the recent skyrocketing prices as "a bubble".
