Introducing Reshana Pillay

25 March 2013

Routledge Modise

Reshana grew up in Durban and completed her LLB at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Thereafter she spent some time in Australia where she obtained her LLM degree (international law) from the University of Technology in Sydney. Reshana returned to South African in 2005 and joined Routledge Modise as a candidate attorney in the litigation department. In April last year she was promoted to director.

After joining Routledge Modise Reshana quickly found her niche in the personal injury team and has developed her practice to include all aspects of personal injury litigation with a special emphasis on the Consumer Protection Act and public and product liability litigation. As a result of her focus on public liability litigation, Reshana has played an integral role in the developing of the Practical Guide to the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act, which is utilised by many of our clients as a guideline when planning and hosting events.
