Introducing Ayanda Nondwana

Ayanda was born and raised in the Eastern Cape. In 2000, he moved to Johannesburg and completed BA LLB at the University of Witwatersrand. In his final year at Wits University, he was awarded the inaugural Phillip Pencharz Scholarship from Edward Nathan Sonnerbergs/Knowles Husain Lindsay. After graduating he commenced his articles of clerkship at Mohlala Attorneys under stewardship of Mamodupi Mohlala. After his admission, he was appointed an associate at Mohlala Attorneys.

In February 2008, Ayanda joined Routledge Modise, initially in the firm's personal injury department as an associate. Thereafter Ayanda spent a year in the firm's commercial department and during that time completed his Certificate in Advanced Company Law. Ayanda's practice comprises a combination of personal injury and professional indemnity litigation, with his main area of interest being Directors and Officers liability.

Ayanda is a member of the Black Lawyers Association. Ayanda is fluent in Xhosa, Zulu and English.
