Hogan Lovells announces inaugural edition of Education GOES International, a guide to offering online education programs around the globe

We are pleased to confirm the availability of the Hogan Lovells international online education guide, Education GOES International. We convened colleagues in our international Education practice around the globe to create this service, addressing regulatory and compliance issues for online education programs in 22 countries.

We are excited to present this fixed-fee service, first announced in 2018, to guide institutions with global online education projects. Many universities and their business partners offer degree and non-degree programs entirely online across borders. Such programs require careful diligence and consideration of important regulatory and compliance issues.

The fixed cost is US$10,000 per year and includes:

  • A compilation of country-by-country guidance focused on the most common regulatory and compliance issues facing online programs, such as authorization, accreditation, privacy, and tax.
  • Access via secure site to the compilation, which focuses on countries where online programs are frequently offered – 22 countries initially – corresponding in large part to the international office footprint of Hogan Lovells.
  • Follow-up advice from our global Education team (up to seven hours of time included).
  • Reference materials addressing common international program issues, challenges, and solutions.

To request additional information, please complete this brief form. To request an engagement letter, please contact any member of our team.

Thank you again for your interest and we look forward to supporting your international programs.
