Department of Labor Rule Requires Federal Contractor Employees to Get Physical and Electronic Notice of Federal Labor Law Rights

The U.S. Department of Labor issued a final rule requiring most private employers with federal government contracts or subcontracts to notify employees of their rights under federal labor law. The rule implements an Executive Order signed by President Obama last year. It applies to contracts resulting from solicitations issued on or after 21 June 2010 and applies whether or not an employer has union employees.
