Dark web vendor guilty of narcotics trafficking and money laundering

A French man who helped run one of the largest dark web criminal marketplaces on which items were offered for sale in cryptocurrencies has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute controlled substances and conspiracy to launder money.

According to the court record and documents filed with his guilty plea at the Miami Federal Court, Gal Vallerius, 36, conceded that he started as a vendor on Dream Market before becoming employed by the site as an administrator and senior moderator.
