COVID-19 I Update - Health Ministry announces requirements for reactivating operations in Mexico of companies in the construction, mining, and manufacture of transportation equipment industry
On May 15th, 2020, the "Accord that amends such diverse accord that sets forth the reopening strategy for social, educational, and economic activities, as well as a region-based traffic light system to assess weekly the epidemiologic risk related to reopening activities in each federal entity, as well as to set forth extraordinary actions, published on May 14th, 2020" (the Accord) was published in the Federal Official Gazette, which modifies sections Second subsection ii) and Fourth of such accord published on May 14th, 2020 (the Original Accord), setting forth the following requirements and conditions for companies in the construction and mining industry, and in those referring to the manufacture of transportation equipment (the New Essential Industries) to resume operations on June 1st, 2020.
