California District Court Up-Ends Federal Rule Authorizing the USFWS to Issue 30-year Programmatic "Take" Permits

On August 11, 2015, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California set aside a final rule published by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) on December 9, 2013 that sanctioned 30-year programmatic “take” permits  years under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (BGEPA) (the Eagle Permit Case).
